Listen Up, iPhone 7 or 7 Plus Users in the U.S who experienced audio issues with your phone between September 16, 2016 and January 3, 2023 - you may be eligible for legal compensation if you "paid Apple out of pocket" for repairs or "complained about the issue" and did not pay Apple for a repair.
PAYOUT AMOUNTS - Under the guidelines of the $35 Million Class Action Settlement, class members with valid claims can receive a payment of at least $50 and up to $349 if they paid Apple out-of-pocket for repairs. Those who did not pay Apple for repairs, but complained about or reported audio issues with their phone will receive payment of up to $125.
Apple will use their repair records to verify claims, therefore no proof of repair is needed to file a claim.
DEADLINES - The deadline to file a claim - or for exclusion and objection is June 3, 2024. The Final Approval Hearing is set for July 18, 2024 - at 2:00 PM (PDT)
HOW TO FILE A CLAIM - Go to the Claim Form for Settlement Payment - https://smartphoneaudiosettlement.com/select-payment
1. Did you receive an email or postcard notice from Apple with a Notice ID and Confirmation Code? If so...
2. Enter the codes into the form located in the upper left corner of the email or on the postcard.
3. If you did not receive a Notice ID and Confirmation Code, use the lookup tool located to the right of the form.
4. Enter your contact information in the form and click "Submit" - A window should open with your Notice ID and Confirmation Code or check your email for this information. You will not be able to submit a claim without a Notice ID and Confirmation Code. Remember, Apple is using their repair records to validate claims.
5. Copy or print the validated claim form or email after successful submission.
