KIDS MAKE $100 IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES - Parents, Your Kids are COUNTING on You to Make This WORK!

Hello Everyone - My 3 year old grandson just earned $100 cash after learning how to count to 100. It started as a challenge when he was barely 2 years old, if he learn to count to 100 and I will give him $1.00 for every number he counts.

During the holidays, my son told me to get ready, because they will be coming home to claim this cash. Well today, my bank account is 100 short, but deep down inside I realize that the investment will pay off - BIG!

If parents pay kids for physical chores around the house, why not  pay them for educational chores and help them improve the quality of their life.

I want to challenge all parents and grandparents to set goals for their little ones (learn the $50 states, $66 books of the Bible, $206 bones of the body, or $118 elements of the periodic table) - and reward them with cash when they are successful.

Remember, it's OK to pay for success, particularly when it involves helping kids be their best.

QUICK CAR TIP - Is Your Car Door Glass Window Falling Down? Fix It Instantly with Mini Suction Cups

Electric car door windows are great when they work, but if the window regulator breaks, or the window "jumps track," you've got a mess on your hands. An emergency can occur at any time, so here's a simple car tip to help you get through this emergency.

Purchase a set of three (3) window suction cups (1 to 2 inches) from an office supply store, department store, or drug store - and keep them in your glove box. Remove the metal clips to prevent damaging or scratching the glass.

To insert the suction cups...

1. Pulled the glass upward with your hands to the full-stop position. If you can not reach the glass, you must remove the door panel and manually push the glass upwards. Be careful and keep your fingers away from the track mechanism.

2. Place the suction cups on the inside bottom edges of the window and in the middle as shown in the illustration above. Move the window trim back so that the edge of the suction cup drops-down into the molding.

3. Readjust the suction cups as required - every 3 or 4 days from road vibrations and air pressure from outside.

4. Get the window regulator repaired as soon as possible to prevent damage of your car's interior from rain, dirt, or road debris. You'll also be surprised to know how important door windows are in terms of gas milage, control of your A/C and heating systems, and for your overall safety.

5. Do not use duct tape to hold your glass up. The sticky adhesive from the tape can cause additional mechanical problems for your window mechanisms, and can lead to extensive body damage during tape removal.

BROKEN SNAP-ON HAMMER Makes Excellence Oil Sending Unit Removal Tool for 1991 and Newer GM Engines

There's nothing worst at destroying a perfectly good engine than a leaky oil sending unit. The problem developed  after an oil change when it was discovered - oil pouring from the rear of the engine on a 1995 S10 Chevy pickup truck. Unfortunately, we did not have the tool (Lisle 13250 Oil Pressure Switch Socket) to remove this leaky sending unit, so the decision was made to shatter the plastic unit with a hammer and grab the metal base with a socket and remove it.

To break the sending unit, we placed the metal end of an old broken Snap-on plastic hammer  (HPT16 Orange Plastic Handle) into the sensor electrical terminal slot - when suddenly we realized that the end of the hammer slipped into the slot forming a snug fit. The upper end of the hammer  became a T-handle and the sensor was un-screwed out of the engine block with ease. Of course the electrical terminals of the old sensor was bent, however it was not going to be used anyway.

What a surprising discovery we found!

For safety concerns and to prevent damage to electrical components, we recommend that you always use the specified tool for doing this job. The purpose of this blog was simply to remind you that a little common sense and some ingenuity are still excellent tools to keep in any toolbox.

HOW TO REPLACE WINDOW REGULATOR on 2007 Chrysler Sebring - Window Dropped Down Into Door on Left Driver Side

What do you do when your car window fall down into the door? You get it up immediately to prevent rain, crooks, and thieves from entering your car. This blog shows a video I found on YouTube describing exactly what I did to fix this problem. The video provide tips on tools and precautions before attempting this repair.

The replacement window regulator cost less than $75 with $10.00 shipping charge when purchased online through a local vendor. After following the video above, it was so easy to install. I suggest that you take your time when releasing the white clips from the glass, and remove the entire glass from the door.

Don't worry about breaking the white plastic clips during removal. The new window regulator comes with pre-assembled clips, tracks, and cables.

Remember to lubricate the window tracks, rubber trim moldings, and felt trim liners that rubs against the glass with a quality silicone spray  lubricant. Do not use oil to lubricate rubber parts, it will deteriorate the rubber.

It's really easy - give it a try!
